Artist Statement on Standby:
I produce paintings based on the inspiration of video game images from my childhood – nowadays its called retro games. To transform these paintings into works of art, I’m injecting my own knowledge into the work. Through the paintings in this exhibition, you can find my feelings that I want to hide and avoid, other than the Battle with Monsters. Right now we are all on standby for the next action, hiding ourselves from the misfortune.
