Josephine Rossing - Solo Show
Look at the Flowers
Josephine Rossing
Hiromart Gallery is delighted to announce the opening of Look at the Flowers - a new exhibition featuring the works of Josephine Rossing, a Tokyo-based Swedish artist.
This marks Rossing’s third solo show with the gallery and showcases her new works, which explore the theme of memory while emphasizing the delicate vegetation that surround us constantly.
Rossing explains that the monotype printing process allows works to communicate the memory atmosphere more clearly.

Artist Statement for Look at the Flowers:
When the world grows heavy, I find myself drawn to the small and delicate. Flowers, leaves, and fragments of gardens begin to hold my attention. In these monotype oil prints I return to the houses I lived in as a child and the quiet plant life that surrounded them. Memory is never exact. Where it fails, vegetation fills the space, growing over absence and rebuilding the landscape of childhood.
