Artist Statement for Eyes and Hands:
Internet has been my favorite ever since I was old enough to understand things. I have engaged in relationships lacking physical presence, and observing the two-way act of being “to watch” and “be watched.” However, I believe this environment has accelerated in recent years, leading us to neglect our independence, inner peace, and maturity as individuals. After several years of gradually disconnecting from the internet and the constant awareness of others, I have dedicated myself to living a quiet life.
These new works are inspired by those daily reflections.

Born in 1986, Yamagata.
Currently, she resides in Oita.
She works on the pursuit of expression with her interest in paintings that depicted people and their living, and ghost stories.
In 2016, the Sagae City Museum of Art hosted and curated her solo exhibition. In 2022, her painting was selected for the 58th Oita-ken-Bijyutsu exhibition. She is also a recipient of the 31st Kenshin Bijyutsu kenshin-douyukai award. Hiromart Gallery presented her solo exhibition in 2016 and 2023, and a 2 person exhibition in 2018.
